What we will do for you
We are here to help you with your court foreclosure case by:
- Reviewing the complaint
- If more time is necessary, we will file a motion with the court
- We will make sure the lender properly takes the necessary steps for foreclosure
- We will ask the court to schedule the foreclosure sale longer than the usual 30 days after the judgment
- During this time, we will provide representation to save your home from foreclosure. Options include:
- Coordinate payment to fully reinstate the mortgage
- Restructure your current loan to lower payments
- Negotiate a work-out arrangement with your lender which would not require a full reinstatement
- Discuss possible refinancing
- Discuss the advisability of selling the home so that the equity will not be lost in foreclosure
- File a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy – This is usually as a last resort and must be filed prior to the foreclosure sale. Our offices can file a bankruptcy petition on short notice if necessary.
- We will discuss with you the best way for you to stay in your home
- How to eliminate the burden of unreasonable mortgage payments which are hurting your credit.
- We will analyze your financial situation to determine which solution is best for you.
